In addition, you can check whether a recent version is contained in your distribution’s repo (see Repology for a compiled list). If you do not find one for yours, please ask the people behind your distribution to include Hydrogen.

If you do not find the latest releases for your mac OS version, this is most probably just due to limitations of our build pipeline allowing us to only build artifacts for current versions. Chances are high that latest Hydrogen will run smooth on your system too when you build it yourself.
